Use Bar Soap to Prevent Soot from Sticking to Pots and Pans
To prevent barbecue soot from sticking to the bottom of pots and pans, rub the bottoms of pots and pans with a bar of hand soap before putting them over an open fire. Scrub pots and pans after use with steel wool and white wiping rags.
